January brought routine back into Slick’s life, with the return to weekly puppy classes and normal day-to-day activities.
He has been on various outings to grocery stores, restaurants, the library, Costco and CrossIron Mills Mall, where it was difficult to convince him that the raccoon he came face to face with in Bass Pro was not alive.
Slick also attended a movie with us where he ran the gauntlet of a popcorn-strewn hallway to get to the theatre. It was a lot of temptation for a puppy, and although he tried his best to ‘leave it’, he was like a four-legged, furry Roomba. I’m sure the theatre staff were grateful for his assistance in cleaning up.
