Hello PADS Village. This has been a great month for me. My hooman has been travelling to the Okanagan a lot over the last few weeks and he and I decided that it doesn’t make sense for me to always come along. So I have had lots of opportunities to visit with some of the incredible team of sitters. And they all become my new BFFs. It’s a lot of fun for me, and I get to stay in some new environments and visit some places I haven’t been before.

But it’s not all “fun and games” as my hooman likes to say. It seems like there are always new things to learn. Right now we are working on turns, where I rotate my body 180 degrees but stay in the same spot. I know it sounds easy, but you try doing it without a treat to lure you. It’s not as easy as it looks. The good news is, I’ve finally figured out the difference between “heel” and “stay”. Sometimes I don’t care, like when I come across something interesting on the road on my way to a “stay”, but mostly I get it right.

So right now I’m a pretty happy pup!! Except that my hooman tells me I have to go on a diet!!! Who is he kidding. I’ve never heard of anything so silly – a lab on a diet!! I think I look great – have a look and let me know what you think!!
