Valentine had an exciting month. She visited her sitters Jenny and Tom and they took her to Salt Spring Island for a week. She learned to settle with the pet dog – which took a few days. Valentine also walked in the Pride Parade and did a great job! This month, we have been working on perfecting the “heel” cue , as well as continuing to work on dog distraction. She spent the last week of the month visiting a school in Point Grey to help destress the teachers before the start of the school year. She was loved and admired by all with her great ability to settle in the work environment and in public places.
