This month was a very busy month for Valentine! On February 1st, she attended the Hobiyee Nisga’a New Year celebrations at the PNE with drumming and dancing. She spent some time with her sitter Pattie and her granddaughter, where they prepared her for her special day. On February 14th – Valentine’s Day – she wore her very special Valentine’s leash and spread the love around with lots of snuggles and wags around the office and a visit with students that day.
On the Family Day weekend, Valentine had meet up with her two favourite puppies-in-training PADS Bonnie and PADS Ocean where they did some work on skills work before having some play time.
At the end of the month, Valentine did a one day swap with PADS Pumpkin to join Pumpkin’s raisers on a cross-country ski adventure in Squamish.
Valentine continues to demonstrate a lovely ability to settle in home, at work and during events such as concerts. Her demeanour in public places such as grocery stores, transit and restaurants is lovely and calm.
