VIMY II loves it in advanced training! He has so many dogs to play with and is progressing well with all the service skills he has been learning so far. Right now, Vimy is practicing working in a bracing harness to assess his suitability for a career as a bracing dog for a client with mobility issues. When he is not working, his favorite pastime is romping in the yard with Hector and his new best buddy Dune!
- Skills being learned: Pushing doors closed with the βpushβ cue, taking one step at a time up and down stairs for assistance as a potential bracing dog, working on quicker response time to cues post-naptime.
- Recent field trips: Various local malls and dog parks, Englishman Falls.
- Possible behavior challenges: Occasional slow reaction times to getting to work after naptime.
- Potential career path: Service
