Halloween was a great success! We get some 300 kids at our house so it’s mayhem for a solid two hours. We optimistically set up the x-pen in our foyer so Vimy could be part of the trick or treat door action – or retreat to the rec room if he needed a break. He sat quietly every time we opened the door – full of curiosity and tail wags – but no barking or escape attempts – even when the kids in their very odd costumes spoke (or squealed) at him. Later he heard fireworks and we went out on the deck where he could see them in the sky – again he watched with interest and no stress at all!
