York IIΒ had a busy month – some of the time with sitters, some with trainers, and a few times all together! York went on various field trips to Burnaby and New Westminster public libraries, Royal City Centre, Abbotsford Police Department, and White Spot for lunch a few times. He walked along the Quay in New Westminster and visited Douglas College and the Courthouse. York is working hard on staying in his optimal training and working zone and maintaining calm around food. We have started to introduce a few PTSD service dog skills, including some grounding exercises and deep pressure calming.
