ABOUT THE POSITIONβ―β―Β
We are seeking someone to fill the role of Salesforce Administrator (37.5 hrs./week). Reporting to the Manager of Admin and IT, the Salesforce Administrator is part of a growing department committed to helping and supporting one another and to creating efficient business processes to allow growth for the organization.
The Salesforce Administrator is the primary staff member responsible for maintaining our Salesforce org. They collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to create effective solutions to organizational problems.
ABOUT YOUβ―β―Β
- Salesforce Admin certified, or an equivalent combination of experience and Trailhead badges
- Experienced with Nonprofit Success Pack and Account Engagement; experience with Client and Dog Tracker considered an asset
- Comfortable with Flow and creating formula fields for making top-notch automations
- Efficient with PCs, the Internet, Zoom, and MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to work a flexible schedule when and if required.
- Organized, professional, a good communicator (verbal and written), a lifelong learner, and excited about change
- Creative in your approach to problem-solving, with good collaboration skills
- Effective at time management and able to balance competing priorities.
- A trusted employee who maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment.
ABOUT THE JOBβ―β―Β
The Salesforce Administrator handles these responsibilities for the Society:
- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, Lightning pages, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, dashboards, and reports
- All aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
- Sandbox environment management
- Collaborate with other team members to gather requirements, translating them into best-practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
- Identify unused or underutilized platform features
- Communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
- Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
- Running Duplicate Check regularly to maintain data cleanliness
- Proactive system maintenance, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
- Backing up Salesforce data and metadata
- User support tickets
- New user and ongoing user training
- Technical documentation and training resources
- Working with integrated applications, including (but not limited to) Account Engagement, Nonprofit Success Pack, Client/Dog Tracker, CanadaHelps, and Funraisin
- Importing offline donations and associated contacts using the Data Loader
WORKING CONDITIONS & COMPENSATIONβ―β―Β
This is a hybrid position working out of our Burnaby, BC Campus. The Salesforce Administrator shares workspace and equipment with other employees at PADSβ facilities. Most of the time, work is scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day, from 9 am to 5 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. There may occasionally be a need to work evenings or weekends.
There is occasional interaction and physical contact with dogs that are in advanced training and puppies visiting the PADS campus.
COMPENSATIONβ―Β
The compensation range for this role is $55 000 per year with a benefits package after the 3-month probation period.β―β―
