Sara’s Story
Gone are the days I can just head out the door on a whim. By the time Iβm ready to leave, Iβm already mentally and physically drained. Iβm happiest when Iβm in my manual chair, rather than my cumbersome power chair, but I donβt have the strength except for with short distance on level areas.

Sif’s Story
I confess I have another reason for always scrolling through the PADS photos; my son Riley suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury when he was 17, (about 7 years ago), and is now permanently in a wheelchair. This motivated me even more to want to meet Sif.

Hi there! This month, I had lots of adventures with my raiser β we went to restaurants, malls, dance classes, and even climbing! I'm continuing to learn important skills like ignoring distractions from other dogs, walking nicely on a loose leash, and settling calmly...
Raava | April 2025
Raava enjoyed lots of walks and outings this month. She made the most of the sunshine and explored Aldergrove Park and Campbell Valley Park. Outings to the doctor and a number of restaurants have been successful, and sheβs able to settle nicely and even fall asleep....
