Queso is being raised and trained to provide life-changing independence to someone with a physical disability other than blindness or to work with a professional such as a teacher, psychologist or victim services worker to help support a healthy community. In September, 2022, Queso was chosen for his extraordinary health and temperament to join the Assistance Dogs International Breeding Cooperative on a short term basis stationed at Warrior Canine Connection in Boyds, Maryland, After a successful career siring 51 pups in 8 litters at PADS & 13 US schools, Queso returned to PADS and took the next step in his journey. In May, 2023, Queso entered Advanced Training where he’ll learn the skills needed to support his future partner.
