Thank You MOVERS!

Thank you to everyone that participated in the 2023 MOVE for PADS!

You can still donate to PADS and help us place more life-changing dogs.

There are so many reasons to MOVE!

Now in its fourth year, MOVE for PADS gets people moving, in whatever way they can, to promote the work we do to place more life-changing assistance dogs.

These placements can help remove barriers and continue our ongoing efforts to create a better, more accessible, more inclusive Canada!

We are excited to announce our 2023 MOVE for PADS fundraiser will launch during National AccessAbility Week. Get active and raise funds to place more life-changing dogs!

WHAT IS MOVE?

It’s a fun way to get active – with a purpose!
You can MOVE any way you wish, but you simply:

1. Create an easy to set up fundraising page (as an individual or a team)

2. Set a goal

3. Share it with your friends and family to raise donations for PADS.

The more they donate, the more you MOVE. The more you MOVE the more lives are changed!

THIS YEARS MOVERS!

Dune | October 2018

Caring Dune: I had a reaction to a flu shot and went to bed one afternoon for a rest/nap. Dune positioned himself on the floor next to the bed and also napped. After about an hour, I felt a gentle, warm breath on my nose. When I opened my eyes, there was Dune with his...

Sara Blake 60th Birthday Challenge

Hi everyone, September is my 60th Birthday month!  Woot! Woot!  It’s a very big deal to me!  And here is why: I usually do something major for each decade Birthday.  In the past it’s been something physical, challenging and scary that I haven’t done before. For...

Checkers | September 2018

We are working on duration and exposing to unusual environment. Our photo this month is rather special as it's a photo of Checkers and a friend after attending a Citizenship Ceremony Submitted by: Shannon Debruyckere

It's September and that means Hockey Season! Seems like only yesterday my raisers took me to my first hockey game, hard to believe it's been almost seven months. I think my "Go In" space under the chairs has shrunk a bit since last year but I make it work. Everyone is...

Cirque|August 2018

Cirque went to Panorama with 2 kids for a little holiday. She did not get much of a chance for off leash and was always on leash and mostly in cape. She was awesome. She went to the pool while the kids swam and ran around screaming and having fun. She was relaxed in...

Corbel | Aug 2018

Pupdate: August was a super busy month with a trip to Alberta (2 flights), time at a cabin on Keats Island (boat rides) and gaining a new buddy named Nemo (3-month-old PADS puppy). While my human is getting ready to go back to school, I am also moving on...yup, I'm...
